for both pharmaceuticals and corrective eyeglass lenses . When necessary, they
perform eye surgery. Most ophthalmologists are in private practices, however
some are employed by hospitals or clinical, and another performed research.
Average salary; $90,000- $150,000
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: they must need to study to become
an ophthalmologist. After completing the medicals school and internship they
must complete a three to five year residency in approved ophthalmology program.
