Ophthalmic technician
Duties and responsibilities: they collect data and measurements
to allow the correct diagnosis and treatments of eye daisies and problems. They
work at hospitals, clinical, or for ophthalmologist in private practices. Their
duties often include the fallowing
1.
Performing simple eye exams.
2. Assisting with eye surgery
3. Explaining diagnostics and treatments
procedures to patient.
Salary: 414,000 - $25,000
Educational Requirement’s:
students will need a high school diploma or a GED certificate, a two
year of college prior to beginning training programs. These programs may vary
in length, but can take up to two years to complete.
